Parents: Parismus and Mary Polly (Smith) Wilkinson. Children by Rachel Beswick: Mary R.  Children by Mary An Martha Beswick: Rachel Helen, Emma, and Lydia Belle. He entered the Methodist Conference of Indiana in 1840. Was one of the best known ministers in the western part of Louisiana.
