Attended Lebanon Normal School, has been teacher 24 yrs (5 in Dayton, OH, 5  in Union City, IN, besides several other places). 2 or 3 yrs. ago he left teaching & engaged in making & selling a patent ironing board, of which business he seems to be making a gratifying success. Since death of wife he has resided with his Mother-in-Las, Mrs. Crabbs, who is resident of Union City. In fall 1881 m. 2nd wife, Miss Meck, dau. of Rev. H. J. Meck of Bluffton. They reside in Union City, though much of time is spent abroad in connection with his business. [Not sure if this is the photographer.]
