M. D. Goodlander, photographer, has just received the largest and finest burnisher ever received in Delaware County and his work will after this be better than ever.

Muncie Evening Press, Nov. 2, 1881, p. 1 - Captured. Another revolution has taken place in photography, whereby you are enabled to have your photograph taken in from three to five seconds, and the most correct likeness taken. This new invention does away with long sitting and staring of the eyes, and a fine picture is taken of yourself when you are not aware of it, by it being made so quick. M. D. Goodlander, Muncie's leading photographer, is the only photographer in this section of the country that is using this rapid process. All of Muncie's old photographers have called at Goodlander's gallery and examined this wonderful invention and pronounced it the best thing they ever saw. We will guarantee children's pictures made in from one to three seconds, old people from three to five seconds. The public is cordially invited to call and we will take pleasure in showing you with what wonderful rapidity this process does its work.

To the Public. Geo R. Gamble has been advertised by a photographer of this city, and has done some work which has been exhibited by the photographer as his own work. As Mr. Gamble, when he sold City Gallery, agreed in the contract not do any photographic work either directly or indirectly in Muncie for a period of ten years he laid himself liable to damages when he got out the work that Mr. Goodlander exhibits as his own. Mr. Gamble has been served with notice of a suit for damage and has quit Goodlander's gallery.
