E. B. Pierson having disposed of his gallery, last Tuesday morning put a paper collar and a codfish ball in his untamed valise and henced. He will probably continue as clerk in the Senate until the close of the sessions, and then return to his old vocation, that of removing post holes.

We are authorized by Mr. Pierson & Co., to state that they intend to open a first class Photograph Gallery in the room formerly occupied by Harry Rose, on Lebanon street, about the 10th of next month, where they will take all kinds of pictures, from the smallest to the largest size. These gentlemen are first-class artists, having been connected with some of the largest galleries in the State. A general invitation is extended to all to call and examine their specimens, when they get their gallery in running order.
