Subject matter for Brooks Chapek and Brooks alone was area in and around Indiana Dunes and Waverly Beach. Possibly started own commercial real photo postcard business, later partnering with his mother Margaret after 1920. Listed in 1920 U. S. Federal Census in Chicago as a manager in the commercial photography industry.
