Galbraith took over Smith's Studio in 1951 and changed the business name in 1963 from Smith Studio to Photo Associates. In 1965 Galbraith moved to 17th and National Raod and changed the operation to Francis O. Galbraith Photographer. He sold the portrait and commercial studio part of the business in 1975 to Jim and Billie Richardson, who later moved it to 1509 25th and changed its name to James L. Richardson Photography.
