Jones, who has a practical knowledge of photograph in all its branches, realizing that Fort Wayne was destined to be a trade center for a large territory with railroad facilities for reaching all points north, south, east, and west, Mr. Jones, in 1888, established a wholesale photographers' supply house, this being the only exclusive house of this character in Indiana, located at 44 Calhoun street, where he has an elegantly appointed sales-room with every convenience for handling his extensive stock of photographic goods which embraces every article used in photography, including cameras, lenses, burnishers, posing chairs and backgrounds. Mr. Jones makes a specialty of furnishing entire equipments for photo galleries. He is prepared also for printing card mounts, having in connection with his establishment a thoroughly equipped printing office. Mr. Jones also handles the wonderful Kodak detective cameras, as well as all goods connected with professional and amateur photography. The result has proven that Mr. Jones was not mistaken as his trade now extends over Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan, and is yearly reaching out in every direction. Being a practical photographer himself he can make it an inducement for the trade to patronize him, and in his prices he is as low as the lowest. The contents of the book consist of large and splendidly executed half-tone illustrations of the Jones photographic supply house, showing beautiful interior and commodious quarters. Mr. Jones has the largest and finest establishment of the kind in the west and his handsome and expensive souvenir makes that fact clear, who otherwise may not know it.
