NEW ALBANY HOUGHTON, HARRY THOMAS, "TOM," 89, died Saturday at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was the owner and operator of the old Houghton Studios in New Albany and was also retired from the old Pennsylvania Railroad. Tom was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club and a 4th degree knight at Cardinal Ritter Council #1221 Knights of Columbus, all in New Albany. Survivors include his sons, William Houghton of Georgetown, IN, and James Houghton of Lanesville, IN, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with burial to follow in ST. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany.
