THE PICTORIAL HISTORY OF CARROLL COUNTY (ca. 1977/78), by C. E. Gerard and Michael G. Griffey:
Andrew W. Wolever (1852-1936) learned photography from brother Peter W. Wolever in Lafayette in 1869-74.  In 1874 he bought out the photographic business of J. M. Boltz of Delphi and received his old negatives.  The Boltz-Wolever Collection covers 1858-1933 and many of the prints appear in the book.  (Although the book claims that the collection was saved, in 1992 a Delphi Public Library librarian or county historian told me that the negatives were being sold off one at a time by the owner's wife (?) who runs an antique shop.  Some of the prints are in the Delphi Library and also I was told in the Indiana State Library.)

Blythe Funeral Homes Records, Delphi (from Carroll Co. Historical Museum database): lists dates and marriage information. He died in Gary at a daughter's home
