Charles J. is the proprietor of the Monroeville Photograph Gallery, and although he is sick the business is being cared for and attended to by Mr. J. R. Trimbell, who is an experience artist who has had years of experience in the business with the leading photographer of Van Wert. [Charles died in December 1899.]

J. R. Trimble, the Photographer who has been visiting relatives and friends in Paulding County, Ohio, for the past three weeks, has returned home and wishes to announce to the public that he will open up his gallery again on Monday, May 21st.

Excitement among citizens last Saturday evening. "By some means a ghost found its way into the photograph gallary, of J. R. Trimble located on the 2nd floor of Byers & Niezer's cigar factory." Groans heard a block away. Speculation that it was Mose Byers, who was missing his companion.

J. R. Trimbell who has conducted the Monroeville photograph gallary for the past few months has disposed of his gallary to A. T. Spelman who is an experienced artist in this line and will continue the business at the same old rooms. The new proprietor is a clever, wideawake gentleman and he invites all to attend his grand opening Saturday next.

According to various Monroeville Breeze newspapers of the 1890:  Mose Byers and John F. Neizer in 1900 were proprietors of the Monroeville cigar factory and tobacco store. In July 1897 the Byers & Walters cigar factory removed from Alleger building to the W. D. Baker Building. Aug. 18, 1898, p. 1 - The Walters restaurant in the Connolly building closed and room being fitted up for Monroeville Cigar Factory owned by the Walters Bros.
