They were married at a double wedding service in Battle Creek, Mich., and came to Oak Park in 1915 when they established themselves at their present address. / Also unidentified clipping, hand dated Jan. 4, 1882 - Double wedding of daughters of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Hall, of Emmett. Carrie L. Hall married Mr. L. Monroe Jones of Elkhart; and her sister Julia Belle Hall married Will P. Lamson of Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Jones took the night train for Elkhart, their future home.

Unidentified Columbia City Newspaper, 1895: Roe Jones has reconstructed bldg. immediately E. of Foust Block; transformed it into art gallery and studio. Been doing business in this city for 11 yrs--office has corner entrance and large plate glass front, waiting, dressing and sky-light rooms, directly adjoinging are all on ground floor. 2nd floor has finishing rooms where toning developing, making of large prints, enlarging, printing of photos and framing of pictures are carried on. He give special attention to making of large portraits in India Ink, Pastel and the new enamel work which is acknowledged to be the finest now known to the art. All apparatus used is most modern make and the light of ground glass on the latest improved plan. [Bev states that the Foust Block is located in the 100 E. Van Buren area, SE corner. "of course most of the bldgs are now gone"]
