Muncie Evening Press, 2 Apr. 1940, Tues, p. 3 - FORMER PHOTOGRAPHER DIES IN CALIFORNIA Frank Burkey, formerly widely known Muncie photographer, died at a government hospital in San Francisco, Calif., his brother, Harrold Burkey, Sr., has been informed.  Frank and Harrold Burkey were in the photographic business in Muncie many years, Frank leaving in 1926 to make his home in California. Four children survive him. The funeral and burial was in California.
