OriginalNotes: (Note: According to THE CHRONICLE OF THE OVERBECK POTTERY, they changed the name from Overpeck to Overbeck in 1911, although newspapers indicate that the change was sometime between 1884 and 1887)
They moved into the Overbeck Home in East Cambridge in 1883.

HISTORIES:
The Chronicle of the Overbeck Pottery by Kathleen R. Postle
(IHS, 1977)

CAMBRIDGE CITY TRIBUNE, Apr. 20, 1893, p. 3:
Marriage announcement of Miss Ida A. Overbeck, to Martin Funk, proprietor of the carriage manufactory on Apr. 13, 1893.

OTHER: In 1992 Phyllis Mattheis, who lives in the Overbeck home in Cambridge City, told me that the sisters had a maternal uncle who was a photographer in Hamilton, Ohio. Perhaps this was paternal uncle because L. C. Overpeck of Hamilton, Ohio was often mentioned in the photography journals.
