A Change -- Mr. A. J. Hassler has disposed of his Picture Gallery in this place to Messrs. F. H. Hall and W. Tuttle, who will continue the business at the same place. Mr. Hall is an excellent artist, and will, we have no doubt, give entire satisfaction to all who patronize the new firm. In addition to Ambrotype likenesses they take Photographs in the best style of the art. Call and examine specimens.

The Plymouth Weekly Democrat, 11 August 1864 ad, p. 4
W. Tuttle Fine Art Gallery and Photograph & Ambrotype Rooms, Plymouth, Marshall County, Indiana - The proprietor of this establishment having purchased the late interest of A. J. Hassler in the same, and having made expensive additions thereto is now prepared to do all kinds of Photographing, Ambrotyping, Ferrotyping and Melainotyping in the highest style of the art. His large sky and side lights enable him to take all kinds of pictures in all kinds of weather. He is now having an immense run of those beautiful Carte de Visites, that are all the rage in the cities. They are just the thing and everybody should have a dozen at once. Life-sized Photographs as true to nature is true to herself, and very popular. Pictures of all kinds copied and enlarged. Don't fail to procure a life likeness of your Father, Mother, Son, Daughter, Husband or Wife before their dear faces are hidden from your view by the grave. Money could not buy from you the poorest and faintest Photographic image of the lost loved one. Then delay not a day lest the substance fade ere yo secure the shadow. The undersigned having had years of experience in the picture business, and having recently become familiar with all the late improvements in the art, flatters himself that his work will compare favorably witht the best done in the cities. New and beautiful pictures, Stereoscopic views, etc, will constantly be added to the already respectable stock; so that this establishment will indeed be a "Fine Art Gallery." Call and see the pictures. F. H. Hall, Agent, Plymouth, Indiana, September 24th 1863, n8t
