OriginalNotes: Fort Wayne Sentinel, 16 May 1896, p. 1
REAL QUIET: Felix Schanz, the Photographer, Married to Miss Mamie Schmoll
A marriage which up to the hour of its consummation was kept almost a secret, occurred last evening. The bride, miss Mamie Schmoll, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb Schmoll, of 78 Force street. The groom, Mr. Felix Schanz, the photographer, is a young man well known in business and social circles. Miss Schmoll was a crayon artist in Mr. Schanz' studio for a long time and here it was that artful Cupic won the day. [Ceremony performed by Rev. J. H. Oechtering of St. Mary's Catholic church; elaborate reception given at the bride's home. The Euphonia double quarter, of which Schanz is a member, attended in a body.] The contracting parties are worthy and popular. The Sentinel joins with many friends in extending congratulations.
