After looking around for a suitable location thought favorably of Portland and decided to make that city his headquarters. He purchased the fixtures of J. Theodore Neiberg in August, 1900, and opened a pleasant studio in the building of Cartwright & Headington, where he has done a flattering business, his ability and the excellence of his work meeting with a ready response from the general public who were not slow to perceive that he was an artist in every sense of the word. He not only excells in photography of all kinds, but also enlarges a large number of pictures, finishing them in the most approved manner either in pastelles, crayon, water colors, or turning out bromides and platonides, and is headquaters for anything used in the line of art. He is a decided acquisition to Portland and deserves the high praise he receives on every hand.
