Last week Mr. S. D. Engle, of Columbia City, was in town surveying the prospects for locating here with a photograph gallery, having frequently been informed that this was a first-class point for such an enterprise if properly looked after. Later we are informed by Dr. A. Engle that the visitor has rented his rooms over the Shank drug store, and will be here ready to attend to all calls about Sept. 19 or 20. Engle is a young man and comes well recommended as a first-class artist.

Editor visited the photograph gallery of S. D. Engle; his cabinet photos are unequaled any where, he charges rates lower than city artists for a dozen. He is far superior to any artist ever located here, and for this reason he should receive the entire support of everybody in this section, that he may stay with us.
