If you wish to obtain a good picture of yourself, to put away in a trunk, give away, or hand down to your posterity, call on Marshall, at the Daguerrean Room, formerly occupied by Major & Brower as a law office.

[Ad ran May 2-Aug. 15, 1851, p. 3] Daguerrean Rooms--Know by all men by these presents, that I have just received a quick working chemical with which perfect likenesses can be taken from 4-10 seconds and in all kinds of weather, which obviates the difficulties of procuring pictures of children & as I purpose staying here but a few days longer will here say to ladies & gentlemen of Lawrenceburgh & vicinity those who wish daguerreotypes executed in Marshall's unique style would be well to seize the present rare opportunity for soon it will be too late.
