Hartford City Telegram, May 14, 1913, p. 5 - Sensational Case Filed in Court - Photographer N. C. Grandstaff accusing wife of unfaithfulness to seek divorce. Accused her of adultery and claims to have names of at least 7 men who have been to friendly with Mrs. Grandstaff. Names 3 small children. He has known for 7 months. "She begged me to sell and leave the city, which I did. We went to 2 other towns, but in both she went astray and we finally came back to Hartford City.

Hartford City Telegram, May 14, 1913, p. 1 - Grandstaffs are Reconciled. Divorce suit filed yesterday by N. C. Grandstaff will be dismissed. Mrs. Grandstaff returned last evening They will make their home in the Smith block on North Jefferson street, where Mr. Grandstaff has his studio.

Orr was formerly the owner of the studio, but a few months ago sold out to N. C. Grandstaff, who came here from Hartford City. Orr took possessio of studio this morning and will conduct the business in the same careful and obliging manner. Grandstaff will return to Hartford City.

Hartford City Telegram, Feb. 5, 1913, p. 4 - N. C. Grandstaff and family are here from Michigan, where they have been visiting. Mr. Grandstaff has purchased a photo gallery in Greenfield, Ind., and will leave soon for that city.
