Newton, a lady above the average in intelligence, and in former years very prominent in Richmond, being connected with the public library and editress of the ladies' department in the Indiana Farmer, d. last Thurs, aged 56 yrs. and 13 days. Had been indisposed for several yrs. and gradually nearing death for about a yr. Funeral last Sat. from family home east Main St.
