OriginalNotes: Lieber's Photo News, May 1934, p. 7 "Old Timers" Recall the Early Days of Photography and the Part Liebers Played In it - recollections of Liebers and Dick Badgley.  Dick came to Liebers in 1883 from Terre Haute where he had been with Eppert's Photograph Gallery. He was a traveling salesman for 35 years until 1908 when he was taken off the road and given the position of assistant manager in the photographic department under Robert Lieber.

[Note: Mrs. M. J. Badgley of Terre Haute, mother of Sam F. Badgley of the Badgley-Graham Co., Louisville, KY, d. Apr. 27, 1898.  Perhaps the Badgley's were involved in photography in Terre Haute]
