He made many newspaper photographs, nearly all of the rotogravure photos for The Terre Haute Tribune.  He and brother Willard bought business from his mother when father Frank J. d. in early 1930s. Willard managed portrait department and Ken handled news and commercial departments. Willard retired in 1969, Ken in 1976.
