Ohio Cinderilla Jackman, 32, milliner, b. Ohio Lola Jackman, 10, attending school, b. Indiana Maggie Bars?, 8, attending school, b. Indiana Waterloo Press (Waterloo, Indiana), May 9, 1901, p. 1 "Leo A. Caro Honored. Elected Grand Chancellor of Michigan." Knights of Phthias. Twenty-one years ago he was married to Mis Lona Jackman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam C. Jackman, then residing in Waterloo and pioneer settlers of the town. Chickasha Daily Journal (Chickasha, Oklahoma), March 25, 1909, p. 1 "Golden Wedding Celebrated." Adam Clarke Jackman and Cinderella Beard married in DeKalb county, Indiana, March 24, 1859; 21 years spent in Indiana. In 1880 they moved to Grand Rapids, Mich, where they remained until 1892 when they came to Oklahoma, living in Oklahoma City until 1900 then moving to Chickasha. Waterloo Press (Waterloo, Indiana), Thursday, December 30, 1915, p. 4 Obituary for Mrs. Adam C. (Cinderella) Jackman, who died last Friday in her Los Angeles home. She was married March 24, 1859 to Adam C. Jackman, who came to Indiana in 1840, and in 1862 he came to Waterloo, where, with his wife, they were pioneers in establishing the M.E. church in this place. They later lived in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to Oklahoma. Husband died on Dec. 19, 1911, just 4 years and one day prior to her death. Daughter Lona F. Caro died Sept. 21, 1910. Lists other relatives, including adopted daughter Margaret Lemon. Chickasha Daily Journal (Chickasha, Oklahoma), Wednesday, December 20, 1911, p. 1 "Reverend Jackman is Dead." Rev. A. C. Jackman of this city died yesterday afternoon at home of F. D. Lemon. Had been resident for 13 years. Born in Carrol county, Ohio, Sept. 14, 1837. Family moved to Indiana in 1840, in 1859 married Cinderella Beard. Came to Oklahome 20 years ago. 12 years ago came to Chickasha. For past 4 years he has been a local preacher and has had four appointments. Will be buried in the old fmaily cemetery at Waterloo, Indiana. More details about Masonic activities, churches, burial.
