"Another Indiana Woman Arrives"
Summary: Miss Pearl Grace Loehr had been written up in the Brooklyn Eagle on Sunday May 7. "She can sketch in pencil, or do charcoal and wash backgrounds for her photographs, but her posing is the most remarkable of all." She engages sitters in conversation and get natural poses when they forget about the camera. "When she was still a young tirl, the Indiana photographer worked in the studio of Mr. Parrott of this city, who then resided in Warsaw. Encouraged by him she went to the Art school at Indianapolis, where she spent two years, going later to Pratt institute at Brooklyn for supplementary instruction. Then she set to work to put her artistic ideas into practice, and the tidy sums she receives for her work in the homes of her circle of posers proves her material success at least."
