Notes from talking to people in the community: Thomas Rudd of S. Whitley thinks that Kelly gave up photography in the 1930s;  Marian Bollinger of the S. Whitley Lib. thinks that he worked from the 1890s-1940s, he was nicknamed Trixie;  in 2015 Edna Arnold said that she had one of Kelly's painted backdrops.
