The K. of P. lodge had charge of the services. Find A Grave 148030032 Cephas Huddleston, b. Oct. 17, 1832, IN; d. April 5, 1914, Los Angeles County, CA; buried Circle Grove Cemetery, Spiceland, Henry County, Indiana. Cephas Huddleston was a son of William and Susanna (Osbern) Huddleston. He was married about 1859 to a distant cousin, Caroline Scott, daughter of James Harrison and Harriet (Gardner) Scott. He was disowned by Silver Creek Friends Meeting in Union Co., IN, for marriage contrary to the discipline of Friends and for deviating from plainness. Although initially he farmed as an adult, he later became a photographer in Henry Co., IN. He and his wife Caroline were the parents of seven sons: Foster, Sherman, Lawrence, Freeman, Wilford/Willard, Frederick and Ralph. On 21 Dec 1884, he married secondly Mary Ella Butler.
