"Reader Inquiry Starts a Search for Long-ago Photography Studio," The Muncie Star Press, July 15, 1996, p. 2B, "Our Neighborhood" by Bill Spurgeon: I remember the Goodlander sisters from the 1940s and 50s when their studio was in the Johnson Block, NE corner of Walnut and Charles sts. They did a brisk business and had several employees. Part of their work, before color film was available, was tinting black-and-white photographs, a popular feature in commercial photography more than a generation ago.
