Text: "A farmer, he was the son of Johnathan and Eunice Swain. He lived in Centre Township in Union County, Indiana with his parents. He also is a self reported Union veteran according the 1910 Census, but there is no proof of service. He married Anna Beman in 1865 and they headed to California where she died there in 1880. He later than came to Arizona. According to his death certificate he was buried on his farm in Cibola."
