Crane, dau, 14, IN at school Posted Nov. 29, 2001, I replied 6/7/2002 http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/message/an/localities.northam.usa.states.indiana.counties.marion/2068?m=2068.1 I am looking for info on Leonard Crane and his wife Sophia (Carr) Crane. I know he was the police cheif of Indianapolis at some time. They both died and were buried in that town. I'd like to know who his parents are and if Leonard and Sophia were married in Indianapolis. I'd also like to know the name of Sophia's mother. Leonard was born 3 Jan 1849 maybe in Kentucky. Sophia was born 15 Feb 1872 in either Indiana or Kentucky. My guess is Indiana.
