John W. Ennis obituary. "John W. Ennis, a former well known photographer of Attica, but a resident of West Lafayette for nearly 20 years, died at his home at 322 University place in that city at 10:30 Monday night after an illness of nine days from inflammation of the kidneys. He was 71 years old and leaves a widow and one son, Kerlin, also two sister, Emma and Laura, of Attica. Mr. Ennis was a photographer in this city for a long time, C. J. Haller being a partner at one time. His gallery was located in the old Hemphill building at the corner of Main and Perry the late John Henney being his successor. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon."

"Mrs. J. W. Ennis Dies of Stroke." Obituary for Salina Ennis, died at home on 620 South Street. Native of Delphi vicinity, maiden name Kerlin. Sister of late S. Wilson Kerlin. After her marriage to Mr. Ennis they moved to Lafayette and had been residents here for many years, having for more than 20 years lived in West Lafayette. Mr. Ennis, who was formerly a local photographer, died March 17, 1914. Son W. Kerlin Ennis survives (member of Purdue Class of 1918, then entered the World War, became an aviator overseas with rank of captain.
