Messrs. Weeks & Cox took daguerreotype of Horace Greeley on Thursday afternoon, which is about as good a picture as we have ever seen....[description of clothing and beard]... Weeks & Cox desired to obtain a photograph of their subject, but he had too many letters to read and answer for him to wait sufficiently long for them to do so.
