The fire started when Charles L. Lentz, 67, one of the owners, lighted a match. A negative caught fire and within a few moments the entire collection was blazing. U. S. Lessell, 50, and employee, was burned slightly in fighting the fire. The negatives had been collected over a 40-year period."
