The Culver Citizen, 17 Oct. 1928, Wed. p. 4 - long glowing obituary [lists parents, birth and death dates and places, siblings Langford, Albert A., Melvin, Marion, Clara Keen, Jennie Jones. At age 17 moved with family from Ohio to Rochester where they lived for 6 years, then moved to Culver where they have continued to live for more than 39 years. "Mr. Keen was the first photographer in the town of Culver and until recent years it was the only business that Mr. Keen was interested in. For the past 8 or 10 years Mr. Keen has been engaged in the real estate business in the town of Culver, in which business he has gained a state-wide reputation."

The Culver Citizen, 22 Nov. 1906, p. 1 - New Real Estate Agency. Keen Bros. have opened a real estate office in connection with their photograph business. This is a move they have contemplated for some time. They have arranged to do extensive advertising in a number of the leading farm papers of the country. If you want to sell see them now. They have a buyer for an 80-acre farm coming Friday, and expect one for a 40-acre farm a few days later. This business will not be allowed to in any way interfere with their photograph business.
