Miss Bynum speciallized on studio work, but desires the commercial work as well and will go into the factory with her camera. The water pipes in the dark room of Miss Bynum's photo studio bursted. The water ran through onto the stairway and froze an inch thick. The only tenated room on the 2nd floor are occupied by Miss Nettie Bynum's photographic studio. Miss Bynum lost her complete equipment and places her loss at $900. The loss is about 1/3 met by insurance. [The department store on West National avenue was gutted by flames. The Kruzan & Co. store was recently remodeled.] No known mention of the Bynum Studio after the 1917 fire.
