OriginalNotes: COLLECTIONS: IHS has Hagerstown Collection, glass negatives from ca. 1905, which according to Carolyn Lafever were taken by Bert Wycoff or Wikoff.  Internal evidence in the collection supports this.  Included is photo of Wikoff's home SW cor. Washington & Harrison sts. She says that his wife Mary was the librarian in Hagerstown.

National Road Traveler (Cambridge City, IN), 9 Nov. 1961, p. 1 - Ebert S. Wikoff obituary: age 87, died Wed. afternoon following extended illness. A retired mechanical engineer, her was formerly employed by the Farmer Feeder Co. of Cambridge City and by the Perfect Circle Corp. at Hagerstown. Former district supt. Of the State Highway Dept. Member of Cambridge City Christian Church and of the Knights of Pythias of Hagerstown. The only survivor is the widow, Nora Myers Wikoff. Burial in the Brick cemetery, SW of Hagerstown.

Hagerstown Exponent, 18 June 1908, p. 3 - Bert Wikoff visited the Exponent office recently and made a flash light picture of the interior. He secured an excellent shadow of the original and every member of the force will cherish a copy as a souvenir.
