Albert Pease, a photographer in LaPorte for 60 years, Albert P. Pease, 85 of 1402 Lincoln way, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at E Street division hospital. He had been in failing health for tow years. It was in 1909 that Mr. Pease, owner of Pease Studio and A and A Camera store, bought out the Van Winkle studio, located over the old street car station at Monroe street and Lincoln way. He then moved his studio to the Masonic Temple building where he remained for nearly two years after which he moved his quarters to 1402 Lincoln way. He maintained a studio at that address until the present time. Pease was member of 2 pioneer family in LaPorte Co., the Prestons and the Peases, who settled in LaPorte county in 1834. He was b. on Fail road in Kankakee township on Aptil 10, 1884 to Albert C. and Mary Emma (Preston) Pease. He lived here all his life. Married in White Pigeon, Mich. On June 22, 1902 to Aileen Northrop, who survives. He was a member of First United Methodist church. Surviving besides wife are one daughter, miss Ethel Pease, Chicago; 3 sons: Alfred C. of LaPorte, Floyd A. of Westville, and Ernest F. Pease of Indianapolis, 8 grandhildren and 13 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters and son Marshall preceded him in death. Burial in Lambs Chapel church cemetery on Fail road.
