OriginalSource: Indianapolis News, 18 Feb. 1903, p. 2 A. J. Burton Insane. Guardian Appointed for the Manager of the Photo Button Company. Alfred Judson Burton, manager of the Indianapolis Photo Button Man. Co., at 8 1/2 E Washington St., has been declared insane, and Probate Commissioner Walker to-day appointed his niece, Miss Mary Burton, his guardian. Burton lives at 112 West Tenth street, and has a daughter thirteen years old. Burton's insanity is attributed to his excessive smoking and his slavish devotion to his button factory. Miss Burton, his guardian, gave $2,000 bond today and took charge of the button establishment.
