Lafayette Daily Courier, June 6, 1856, ad for Cond's Ambrotype and Daguerreotype Gallery. Text criticizes proprietors who learn the art in a week or two, solicits those who want their photos retaken to come in the mornings and "not so many at a time as heretofore." Same issue has short editorial mention of Cond's Daguerrean Gallery, mentions that "Cond has been here a number of years" encourages people to call at his rooms, south side public square.

TCHA clipping file, unidentified newspaper clipping, July 13, 1858:  Cond, at the Lafayette Daguerrean Gallery, has just completed a number of life size photographs . . . just completed G. S. Orth, Esq. and one of W. H. Hatcher. These may be seen at the Gallery on the South Side of the Square.
