Conversation with Barbara Love, Marion Library employee, 5 Nov. 1993:  Mrs. Larrimer was a photographer who continued her husband's business.  She took Mrs. Love's class portrait in 1946 and demonstrated retouching.  She studio, which was in part of the interurban building, looked very old fashioned: old portraits on the walls with fringed scarves draped over the frames.  They never had children.

OriginalSource: 5 Nov. 1993 conversation with Mrs. Barbara Love, from the Marion Public Library Museum:  She remembers Mrs. Larrimer, who took her senior photo in 1946. The studio was in the ___ Bldg and never changed.  Mr. Larrimer had large old photos on the walls and fringed scarves over the frames.  Mrs. Larrimer was the photographer and a retoucher.  She showed Mrs. Love how she retouched.  The Larrimers had no children.  Love told how Mr. Larrimer's studio was 4 blocks from the river and his glass negs were too heavy so he dumped them in the river.  MPL has many of his photos.
