1874 People's Guide for Montgomery County stated that Bramblett was a "first-class photographer." Came to Montgomery County in 1873. Gone by 1884 when his daughter Cora was born in Minnesota. Gallery over the Post Office on East Main. Boarded at Nutt Hotel in 1878

"W. R. Bramlett, of the postoffice photograph gallery, exhibits commendable energy in his efforts to keep up with times in providing for the comfort and convenience of his customers. His latest improvement is a new and handsomely furnished office, with counter, show case and case for picture frames. He also has a new 'position' chair, a late invention, which is quite an improvement over the old ones."
