OriginalNotes: EDUCATION: received practical education in schools of Camden OH and KY, and after coming to Shelbyville pursued his studies for 3 yrs. under Prof. Harrison, one of most scholarly and accomplished educators in the state. In meantime he took up study of photography, under the direction of his father.

Chadwick's History of Shelby Co., Ind, 1909, p. 498-501, write-up on Orebaugh family, after learning photography from his father it was not long until his advancement and superior skill enabled him to do all kinds of work within the province of the science, though since becoming a partner in the business he has given attention principally to the operating and developing departments, operated a gallery in Frankfort, IN for 2 yrs, in 1906 took half interest in business at Shelbyville.
