Describes and shows photo of 8x10 inch, bellows camera which Ernie bought from the late photographer J. C. Adams before starting his studio (in 1912 or 1913). Its age is estimated at 75 years, and with it he has taken all of his portraits through the years.

He died 21 September 1927 at the age of 71. John Adams is listed as a photographer in the 1906-07 Hartford City Directory, but his name does not appear in subsequent publications.
