David Ault, 82, 615 South Eddy Street, died Wednesday at 6:15 pm. He inhaled smoke and suffered exposure when his home cuaght fire April 16, and pneumonia resulted. Born in Fairfield County Ohio, Nov. 12, 1835, and came to this city from Plymouth, Ind. 18 months ago. Survived by daughter Mrs. Ernest R. Grossman and 3 grandchildren of this city, siblings of Basil, Ohio.

D. Ault, a first-class photographer has taken up his abode in town and is ready for work. Give him a call and inspect his specimens of work.

Sketches [profiles of advance paying subscribers], 
David Ault, our photographer, though he spends his life upon wheels, yet he has "pitched his tent" in Mentone and will remain so long as the people show by their patronage that they appreciate his work. This should be sufficient to induce him to locate permanently, as his work is first class in every respect. He came from Akron to this place last August, and was doing a good business when on election day his car caught fire and was almost totally destroyed together with a large amount of photographic stock which he had on hand. His loss was a heavy one, yet he immediately rebuilt and put his outfit in a better shape than ever for good work. Mr. Ault is a veteran soldier, a good citizen and a worthy man.
