OriginalSource: Daily Sentinel, Mar. 24, 1863: Runnion's Gallery--This fine establishment has been recently refitted, and has all the modern improvements in the art of photographing. Mr. Ryder, of Cleveland, an unequaled photographer, will give his assistance in the gallery. Call at Runnion's, examine the work, and have pictures taken for your friends.
Mar. 31, 1863: ad for Runnion's "Mr. Ryder, his chief operator, is well known at the East as one of the best photographers in the Union. Go to Runnion's opp. Glenn's Block, for pictures true to nature and to art.
Apr. 23, 1863, article about fire in Runnion's Gallery, Mr. Ryder, the operator, was about returning to it [gallery] when the alarm was given.
May 27, 1863: ad for Runnion's: "Mr. Ryder is still on hand, in the operating room"

Daily State Sentinel, 5 Oct. 1863, p. 3, 11th Indiana State Fair
Runnion Every premium, as we have heretofore stated, was taken, on daguerreotypes, photographs and ambrotypes, plain and in oil, by the distinguished and accomplished Runnion of the famous Art Gallery, East Washington street, opposite Glenns' Block. The gifted and artistic Mr Phillip S. Ryder, who is with Runnion, fabricated the most of these pictures, almired enthusiastically by all, before the committee sensibly awarded the premium.
