Murdock, the photographer, steps high and declares that he can take a picture of a baby in less time than a wink now. He is the proud papa of a brand new girl and is the happiest man in town.

The Republic (Columbus, Indiana), 30 June 1887, p. 4 - W. S. Murdock, the photographer, did business in Indianapolis this morning / Murdock has added elegant piano to his handsome suite of rooms. It is queer, but never-the less true, that nin-tenths of the marriageable young ladies who have their pictures taken of Murdock, are married within a short time after the photos are distributed.
