Forsyth, of Indianapolis, the artist who has charge of the new Hamilton art studio, has a fine exhibition of paintings at that place, and they have been greatly admired during the last two days by the large number of ladies and gentlemen who have called to see them. They are views which he painted while in Europe. He was at Munich, germany, for seven yars, and attended the Royal Academy of Art. He is an artist of rare ability. D. H. Hamilton, photographer, corner Calhoun and Columbia streets, is still "at home" to his many patrons and friends. His business is every day increasing. Rooms elegantly fitted up. Pictures in oil and water colors, are also done by first-class artists in these specialties in his employ. Large share of attention given to copying and enlarging old ambrotypes and daguerreotypes, and a number of agents are constantly soliciting throughout the country for such orders, which will be promptly and satisfactorily filled. Call at the Hamilton Gallery.
